I'm selling part of my collection of rare champagnes and Cognac that i've collected from various trips to France over the years , my collection has been professionally stored in a cooled safe to help keep it in pristine condition.
This bottle of Dom Perigean 1999 comes sealed in a box with original booklet , all in pristine condition ( as per the images ) .
From the ripe and approachable 1999 vintage, this has typically encyclopaedic notes of angelica, hazelnut, cinnamon and tobacco; how it manages to do all this is a well-guarded mystery, courtesy of the Chef Des Caves, Richard Jeffroy. Exotic elements are harnessed by hints of peppery spice with notes of brioche, peach and quince all vying for attention. A powerful wine and one that will continue to develop over the next decade. but which can also be enjoyed now.
