Recently removed from professional storage - selling to fund some Burgundy purchases.
100% Chardonnay with 4 years lees ageing. Mainly fermented in stainless with 7% in old oak. 6g/l dosage. I opened a bottle over Christmas and it s really good stuff; subtle, tight and nuanced. Clearly has years of drinking ahead of it.
From the critics...
Lovely melon and citrus fruit on the nose, bit of yogurt and cream. Smoky and compact, lots of citrus and zestiness on the mid palate – really rich citrus, like poached lemon and orange peel and key lime pie topped with oat meal. Crunchy with a fantastically geometric, firm finish. No nonsense. Good stuff.

emon, chalk, Golden Delicious apple and the merest hint of blossom honey combine into an enticing nose that promises both freshness and generosity. Bright, lemony notions emanate with the burst of every single, tiny, creamy bubble to disperse a sense of joy and elegant freshness. This is creamy, smooth, rich and fresh, with a chalky, biscuity depth. Lovely.
