Faccoli has 4.5 hectares of vineyards on the rocky red clay and limestone slopes of Mount Orfano. The northern side get the influence of the cold and humid winds from the Iseo lake, the southern side, where Coccaglio is, has a mediterranean climate.
The wine is produced using the traditional champagne method except zero Dosage is added with the second fermentation brought about wholly from the local yeasts. The result is an outstanding wine is dry with deep mineral notes, medium bodied with and a lively fragrant mousse of peaches and lemon flavours. Ideal as an aperitif,particularly good for special celebrations and with most foods.
Released from the cellar after 3 years, it tastes even better after 10.
