As any serious Prosecco imbiber would know, the best come from the region of Treviso and this is vintage also. Light, fruity without the heaviness, and often preferred to the real - Champagne.
Consumers should be very careful in not getting caught up within supermarket deals and their false advertising and gimmicks. For example, Waitrose selling their Prosecco San Leo from 10.49 down to 7.79 on a 25% fake discount, so typical of supermarket giants. From a INFERIOR region of Prosecco growth and NOT EVEN A VINTAGE. Prices will set to soar from 2016 for decent Proseccos', so secure some for your cellar.
