An extremely rare and mature bottle of Vin Santo from Antinori from the 1945 (!) vintage.

Vin Santo is a labour intensive style of Italian dessert wine, made by slow drying of the grapes to naturally concetrate the sugar and create a wine with higher residual sugar levels.

The bottle in in fantastic condition - beautiful, pristine label/secondary label with the vintag, excellent fill level (base of neck) and fully intact capsule with minimal corrosio (see images).

An amazing opportunity to add a wine from this important vintage to a collection.
