An extremely rare and mature bottle of Ch. Lafite Rothschild from the excellent 1962 vintage.

Chateau Lafite Rothschild is one of the most legendary and sounding names in the world of fine wine and 1er Grand Cru Classee of the official 1855 classification of Bordeaux wines.

The appears to be in very good condition for its age with an intact label with some storage related soiling and a small tears, intact capsule with some wear minor cracks (see images) that still perfectly shows the old Chateau Lafite imprint and excellent fill level.
the clarity and colour however, appear to be extremely mature.
1962 is considered one of the best vintages of the 60s - after the legendary 1961, most wine afficionados either consider 62 ' or 64 ' to to be the second best vintage of the decade.
