Description

As winemakers and former millers, the history of the Daviau family and the Domaine de Bablut can be traced back as far as 1546. The organically farmed vineyards of the Domaine cover a wide area around Brissac, near the Aubance river. Christophe Daviau, wine specialist, makes organic wines, in particular Côteaux-de-l Aubance and Anjou-Villages-Brissac.

100% Cabernet Franc grown on limestone soil. Hand harvested at optimum maturity. Destemmed. Gentle extraction. Bottled after 18 months maturation.

Petra Alba comes exclusively from a limestone soil of what was formerly called white Anjou (as opposed to black Anjou from shale soils). It comes from the favorite grape of this type of terroir, Cabernet Franc. Petra Alba has fruity aromas with the depth, the power and the breed of beautiful birth products. The geological nature of this great terroir brings the finesse, the fruity and the sweetness of the structure.
