A bottle of Pavillon Rouge, the official second wine of iconic 1er Grand Cru Chateau Margaux from the 1981 vintage.

Pavillon Rouge is, alongside Les Forts de Latour from 1er Cru fellow Chateau Latour, considered one of the best best official 'second wines' of a top end classified estate in Bordeaux.
These wines are excellent in the own right and easily compete with at most of the top 2nd Growths - often even fetching higher prices than most 2nds.

The bottle is in very good condition, with intact label and capsule and ullage at neck level (see images).
