falstaff 98 pts ...Still a rather deep ruby, ochre reflections, discreet watery rim. Dark berry confit with chocolate overtones, fine balsamic nuances, ripe plums, pleasant spiciness, hints of nougat, toasty aromas of tobacco and caramelised nuts. Juicy, complex, elegant texture, nuances of dried plums, fine, firm tannins, mineral touch, good length, sweet finish, still in good shape.
