Label Condition - Slight fading with age but very good condition.
Very special as this original bottle is the same year HM Queen Elizabeth II became queen.
Previously out of a perfect underground cellar where the wine has been kept under best conditions. Now wine is located in the UK inside a temperature controlled wine fridge at a constant temperature of 64°F / 17°C.
This 1952 vintage boasts a wonderful aromatic complexity and exudes a distinctive cedar aroma in particular, which is much appreciated by enthusiasts. Great Lafite vintages seem to be able to defy the decades and never die.
Cork condition vey good considering the 1952 vintage. No cork extrusion or leakage whatsoever.
