A very old estate which dates back as far as the 12th century, Château Lamothe-Bouscaut was acquired by its neighbour, Château Bouscaut, in 1998 – owners are Sophie Lurton and Laurent Cogombles. The appellation of Pessac Leognan is located within the Graves region.
Lamothe-Bouscaut is a Cabernet Sauvignon dominant blend. The wine is fermented in stainless steel and concrete tanks and then aged for 12 months in oak (45% new).
A nose of black fruits and toasty cedar aromas. Well-balanced on the palate, with silky tannins, supple fruit and lingering spice.
Ready to drink now.
