From the outstanding 1929 vintage, this stunning red wine is believed to be private stock from Chateau Ducru Beaucaillou as it was sourced from the head gardener there. It is from the village of Ludon (Ludon-Medoc) in the south of the Medoc peninsula. The 1929 Bordeaux vintage was successful in every appellation. The Left Bank produced incredibly, opulent, rich wines.
Ideal for a 91st anniversary.
Incredible level for the year. label bin soiled but all intact.
