Bought on BFW in 2017 & stored in my Eurocave until 2020 at which point it was transferred to Nickolls & Perks temperature controlled storage until February 23. Fill level is into the neck. See tasting notes below-
100/100- Falstaff (Tasted October 2019).
Strong ruby, faint brightening on the rim. Perfect nose, exotic hints, fine roasted aromas, juicy dark berry fruit, sweet cherry, delicate tangerine zest.
Intense, fine savory, silky tannins, great chocolate touch, wonderful length, mineral, black cherry on the finish, conveys a brilliant lightness & finesse, seems almost a little playful, great length, sure potential. Pure Margaux drinking pleasure.
