Bought on UK Winebid in December 2000. John Ashford, one of the owners of this early internet auction site told me it was his favourite Margaux vintage ever. (Would that a few more bottles were still around!)nSince then it has been kept in ideal cellar conditions for 22 years.nnCondition: good. Level: high mid-shoulder (good for its age). Label good, slightly bin-soiled. Capsule: small marks, but intact.nCork slightly raised but sound and solid.nnCheapest online prices (including VAT, import duty, customs and excise charges)nNot available in UK.nEuropean internet shop: £462 but in very poor condition.nWinesearcher estimate (if good condition) £1161.n
