An impressive Bordeaux, 95+ Point Troisième Cru Classé Margaux, made in a vintage rated as "exceptional" by critics. Packed with gloriously rich, ripe fruit, backed by firm tannins and layers of powerful, dark flavour from 18 months in oak, this is very fine.
Tasting notes: Intense black fruits, finely grained texture, huge length, structure

Marquis d Alesme (now Becker) is a very beautiful château, proudly dating back to 1585. For much of the 20th century, it was an underperforming estate, sitting on some of of the finest terroir of the Margaux appellation, with some of the vineyards adjacent to Château Margaux itself.
In 2006, Nathalie Perrodo-Samani took ownership, installed a new winemaking team and by 2014, had completed a state-of-the-art cellar too.
