Description

This is sadly a domaine in decline in recent years. Jean-Louis has had health problems and the wines have fallen off accordingly. However these are from the 98 vintage when the wines still carried a great kudos and that feeling of a hands on approach from a small producer. A lot of the early 2000 wines found their way in barrel to Jean-Louis s brother who is a winemaker at A. Bichot.

I have had these bottles for a couple of years after buying at auction from a collector. Suitably protected from light, movement and changing temperatures they have lain quietly awaiting usage. As a lover of aged Burgundy I don t want to sell, but I need the room for other purchases I have made.

Currently lying in a wine merchants premises.
