Description

One bottle of this wine, being the bottle shown in the photographs. Bought many years ago and stored properly in a cellar since then. There is a degree of deposit on the side of the foil as shown; the labels are reasonably good for the age of the bottle. Currently retailing at £300 in the UK.

Allen Meadows - Burghound: "Trace of brick orange on the rim with expressive, largely secondary aromas trimmed in subtle sous-bois hints followed by supple, relatively fine flavors and soft, indeed even velvety finishing tannins. There is good richness to both the nose and the flavors and while the flavors are delicious, it is the impressive complexity of the nose that carries this." (11/2001).

A recent Cellartracker note: "8/12/2022 - glou.sf Likes this wine: 93 Points. Nice nose of strawberries, red cherries, and underwood. Good acidity with fully integrated tannins, cedar notes, forest floor, and more red berries on the palate. Nice finish. Still quite fresh, lovely wine."
