Seventh-generation Romain Taupenot is in charge of winemaking at Domaine Taupenot-Merme, aided by his sister Virginie. It's widely and correctly acknowledged that the estate, which has been working along organic principles since 2001.

A bouquet with raspberry and wild strawberry fruit laced with wilted rose petals, the oak here seamlessly integrated. The palate is medium-bodied with very fine tannins, superb mineralite and a crystalline finish that urges you back for another sip. What and outstanding Corton Rognet.
