Description

Errazuriz...A Cabernet Sauvignon blend, aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. It opens with leafy cassis notes and a hint of cinnamon. There is plenty of tannic grip on the palate, with a textured character to the mouthfeel. Herby notes sit alongside black fruits and black pepper spice. The finish is quite long. but a bit one-dimensional and with a touch of alcoholic warmth showing through. At its best with food.

Drinking Window 2017 - 2021

Weinart.. 2010 - Jancis Robinson
Dark blackish ruby with lots of evolution at the rim. Heady combination of liquorice and Fishermen’s Friend menthol on the nose. Sweet and rounded on the palate with none of the sassy aggression of a typical 2010 Mendoza Malbec. Really very distinctive with a gentle smoky, charry finish and lots of mellow fruit. (JR) (2/2015)
