Description

Just occasionally you chance upon a great, great wine. I have been selling wine since the 1980s and this 1959 Tba is one of the vinous highlights of my life. Labelled and recorked at the property by the looks of things, a late release from the cellars of the winery for Pieroth in the USA. I have made a video which I can send upon request, meanwhile all that has to be said is that it is vibrant, still a firm structure and very sweet with notes of black coffee, molasses, apple core, and a length that never seems to end. Equal to d'Yquem, Riesling at its very finest, a true wonder. Almost indestructible due to the levels of sugar, this wine will go on and on. Great old Tba rieslings from famous growers sell for thousands. This is up there with the best.
