Tiny production from ancient, low yielding vines that gets 24 months in new American oak usually. This vintage had 28 months in 80% American and 20% Balkan oak. Very intense, chewy and claret-like – despite the alcohol level and predominant grape variety. The finish is still dry. Keep this one. Jancis Robinson (February 2008) JancisRobinson.com
