The wine was a gift to me in 1998. Having been lucky enough to have tried other bottles of the same wine at the time, I knew how special it was, so I then felt that I wanted to save this bottle for a special occasion and to drink with people who would really appreciate it. The more time went by, I forgot about it. It has been stored under my stairs in a old house, which I mention because it has been kept cool. I have a wine rack which holds the the bottle horizontal. I am still living at the same address, so the wine has not been moved about.
Bid for Wine have valued this bottle at between £220 and £340.
