A super bottle of this 26 year old Barossa Valley Shiraz, the bottle is in great condition, perfect label, front and back, a good tight capsule and a level into the neck.

Medium red-purple; the very elegant bouquet has savoury/spicy overtones to the cherry/plum fruit, supported by subtle French oak. The palate is no less elegant, with savoury/chocolate/berry flavours supported by fine tannins and similarly classy oak. (7/2011)
