For auction is an almost new condition, high-end decanter from world renowned 11th generation Austrian glass manufacturers Riedel (founded in 1756).nTheir iconic handblown glass decanters are among the most beautiful, artisanal paraphernalia to decant fine wines with.nnThis is the model 'Amadeo' which is a Lyra shaped decanter and probably one of the most elegant original decanter design out there.nIt is traditionally mouth-blown and hand-made from crystal glass in Austria and was launched in 2006 to mark the 250th company jubilee of Riedel - the name "Amadeo" is a reference to Austrian classical composer Wolfgang Amadeus ('love God') Mozart, one of the most important musicians in history.nWhile the Riedel Ultra is probably the most classical decanter from the Riedel lineup, the Amadeo alongside the Swan are my personal favourites when it comes to elegance and pouring performance.nnThe capacity is up to two standard size bottles (to be precise it is given as 1500.00ccm in the tech specs).nThe decanter is ca. 38cm tall - so quite an impressive piece to present fine wines in.nThe Riedel hallmark is etched into the crystal glass at the bottom of the decanter.nIt will be shipped well packaged in neutral packaging.nnThe current retail price for this decanter is 495£.
