For auction is an excellent condition high-end decanter from world renowned 11th generation Austrian glass manufacturers Riedel (founded in 1756).
Their iconic handblown glass decanters are among the most beautiful, artisanal paraphernalia to decant fine wines with.
This is the model 'Tyrol ' which is an amphora shaped decanter that lays horizontally.
It is traditionally hand blown from crystal glass in Austria.
The capacity is up to two standard size bottles (to be precise it is given as 1870.0 ccm in the tech specs).
When laid down horizontally, it is 19.2cm high and 46cm long - so quite an impressive piece to present fine wines in.
The Riedel hallmark is etched into the crystal glass at the lower end of the decanter and at the right angle it is magnified through the glass.
Please note that that it will be shipped without the Riedel Box!
The retail price for this masterpiece is 495£.
The reserve is at only half of this at 250£.
