Henri Lurton has made what is probably his best ever ‘Baron’ in this classic Margaux vintage. With 57% merlot, 39% cabernet sauvignon and 4% cabernet franc the wine has generous plumpness of fruit and silky tannins. A highly satisfying wine that will be approachable from an early age.

The second wine of star property Brane Cantenac, the 2016 ‘Baron’ is a fine example of an approachable, merlot-dominant Margaux from an excellent vintage. Soft tannins and refined fruit ensure a wine of considerable class.
