Description

Bottled in 2004, Quinta de Vargellas is an important Douro vineyard producing the best Port Wines since 1820. Quinta de Vergellas Vintage Port Wines usually mature quicker than the other Taylor’s Vintage Port Wines. Vargellas Vintage 2002 features a deep purple black colour and a few reddish nuances. It shows ripe aromatic flavours of plums and cherry jam and some hints of spices. It is a full bodied Port with a soft and satiny texture, but at the same time a subtle and elegant Port, that evolves perfectly in the bottle.
