Description

A pair of bottles from a case stored in my underground Victorian cellar.

Vinous: 95/100
Limpid yellow-gold. Grapefruit pith, Meyer lemon, pear skin, honeysuckle and a hint of beeswax on the incisive nose. Chewy and deeply concentrated but lithe as well, offering palate-staining citrus and orchard fruit flavors complemented by suggestions of chamomile, green tea, chalky minerals and botanical herbs. Shows superb definition and citrus-fruit-driven lift on the finish, which hangs on with serious tenacity. (Josh Raynolds)
