Description

Deep orange colour, 40% opaque. Open nose of caramelized oranges. Sweet and exquisite texture on entry, medium bodied and full of fruit. Terrific aftertaste, with huge volumes of bitter-sweet orange marmalade. This is a difficult wine to score as it has an astonishing aftertaste, but is quite straightforward on the mid-palate. Overall, this is probably the best bottle of Warre 1960 I have had to date.
