A super rare Macallan from a Fino Sherry butt. Filled 22.12.1981 and bottled in 1999 at natural strength 56% Alc./Vol.
From the producer... Nose: Citrus fruits, lemon and orange, sweetened with hints of raisin. The orange notes become more prominent with oak developing. Lingering cinnamon, vanilla and light toffee, with a touch of chocolate and wood spice balance out the complex aroma. Taste: Light spicy wood resins(clove & ginger) with smoky oak. Layers of citrus fruits and a hint of vanilla sweetness. Intriguing and complex.
