This bottle, in remarkably good condition - see photos - was originally exported to the USA, and bears a sticker that the 14 cents Tennessee wine tax has been paid. That's a relief.

The contents are stated as 1pt, 8 & 1/2 fl ounces. Also good to know.

The colour is that associated with added Sauternes, a deep straw hue.
