Description

A venerable bottle of '61 Sauternes. Bottled by Calvet in Bordeaux.

The bottle is in remarkably good condition bar the bin scrape - see photo.
The colour has now deepened to an old straw hue, commonplace in older Sauternes.

The level is remarkably high - base of neck for a 50+ year old bottle.


This bottle will certainly create a stir on any Christmas table.
