A perfect bottle from the outstanding 1990 vintage which needs no introductions for amateurs of fine dessert wine.

Wine Advocate #98 Apr 1995 Robert Parker 90

Filhot, which prefers to tank rather than barrel ferment its wines, produced a 1990 that is clearly the best wine I have tasted from this estate. It exhibits gorgeously ripe, honeyed tropical fruit, an intense, medium to full-bodied personality, wonderful purity, fine acidity, plenty of botrytis, and a long, zesty finish. What makes this wine so appealing is its combination of richness, crisp acidity, liveliness, and zestiness".

60% Semillon, 35% sauvignon-blanc and 5% muscadelle.
