A firm favourite of mine around the festive season, this goes wonderfully with foie gras, blue cheese, fruit cake or Christmas pudding. The noble rot has worked its wonders and 20 years in the bottle has matured this wine wonderfully.
An average 91 points on Cellar Tracker this is a medium bodied Sauternes, not too sweet and there is some lively acidity there to balance the apricot, toffee and marmalade flavours.
Don't chill it too cold and don't put it in the cellar, it's ready to drink now.
