Ripe and peachy with dense, sappy fruit. It has the Ramonet floral elegance and some spearmint as well. It has so much flesh that it is not until the very last sip that you realise that there's a core of geological material drilling right down into the wine's heart. Great stuff.

This Morgeot is another persuasive argument in support of the contention that 2010 is the best Ramonet vintage for several decades. The wine opens in the glass with lovely notes of green apple, citrus oil, oatmeal and spring flowers. On the palate there is a cut and precision that is often lacking from this bottling, which balances the wine's nicely glossy texture. This is still youthful and ageing gracefully.

A light toast note runs through this white, with apple, lemon, vanilla and graphite flavours. Finishes with some tannins, leaving a tactile sensation. Fine length. Best from 2015 through 2025.
