Description

Tasting note: (from a recent cellar release). A wonderfully expressive, complex and softly enveloping nose of real nuance and grace leads to dense, rich, sweet and utterly delicious flavors that don't possess the knife-like cut of the '63 but there is more depth and overall balance here. With time, this took on a lychee nut and honeysuckle character that remained for minutes on the finish. In sum, this is a seriously impressive effort that just exudes class and in magnum format, this will also drink well for another decade, perhaps longer.
Tasted: May 31, 2005 Score: 96 Drink: Now+

Alan Meadows, Burghound.

Recently unearthed from the cellar of a London Livery Company. Believed to have been purchased on release. Colour and ullage are good.
