Cembrani 708 km Bianco is a blend of Riesling Renano, Muller Thurgau. The grapes harvested for the production of this blend are part of several vineyards owned by the members of the Cembrani DOC. Each company has selected a particular area, has vinified the grapes and conferred the wine to the Consortium for the creation of an exceptional blend of the best that can be produced. These wines are the expression of the historic vines of the area, together with those that represent the future of the Valle di Cembra vineyard. The vineyards have a south/east exposure and are located between 550 meters a.sl and 780 meters a.s.l in the municipalities of Cembra and Giovo. The soil where the Cembrani 708 km Bianco is produced is mostly made of a porphyritic and calcareous structure. The sleep force the producers to manually harvest duo the difficulty of using machines. The grapes are soft pressed and the vinification is strictly controlled by a stable temperature. After the fermentation, the wine will mature in stainless steel and then in bottle.
“708 km Cembrani Bianco” and “708 km Cembrani Rosso” represent the ambassadors of the excellence of the Valle di Cembra territory and its unique pedoclimatic peculiarities: the continental climate, the south/east exposure, the porphyry and limestone geological component in the initial of the valley, the strong thermal excursion in the pre-harvest period, are the unique characteristics of the Valle di Cembra which yield exceptional grapes.
