Chateau Yquem is without doubt the grandest and best known of all the great Sauternes estates. It is widely regarded as the most exclusive dessert wine produced anywhere in the world. When classified in 1855, Yquem was granted the exclusive and unique title of Premier Cru Supérieur.

The bottle is in pristine condition having been stored for most of the past fifty years in a fantastic manor house cellar.

1955 was an outstanding year for Yquem and ratings and reviews bear this out. It really is a wine you will never forget tasting!
