Two bottles of 1989 Monbazillac (Bergerac area) dessert wines. Traditionally lighter than the Bordeaux equivalents (Sauternes, Barsac Loupiac etc), the wines of Monbazillac have always enjoyed popularity, particularly in France. These are proper chateau wines, not plonk from the local co-op...and if you like strong cheeses, these bottles will (from experience) marry perfectly, and well worth a try sometime.
