An interesting opportunity to taste how one of Denis Dubourdieu's earliest white Bordeaux wines has aged after 30 years...

Denis Dubourdieu is Professor of Oenology at the University of Bordeaux, widely recognised for his pioneering work that has dramatically improved white winemaking in the Bordeaux region.

The two bottles I am selling come from a case that has been stored for many years by an elderly Essex wine collector with a large underground cellar.

I have tried a bottle recently and it is amazingly fresh and moreish, and still reasonably light in colour, giving very little hint of being 30 years old. Impressive stuff indeed!
