Spread over 27 towns, vineyards of the Coteaux du Layon produce one of the most famous wines of the Loire Valley. It distinguishes seven AOC that specifically reflect their terroir. The grapes, exclusively from the vine Chenin Blanc, are harvested by successive pickings once noble rot developed fully. Les Coteaux de Layon are famous for their beautiful pale golden color, sometimes greenish, for their aromas mingle where fishing, apricot, honey and acacia for their roundness, suppleness and fullness. Their aging ability is exceptional.
