Description

A rare chance to try an early vintage made by the former enfant terrible of Pouilly Fume (who sadly died young in an ultralight plane crash in 2008).

According to Denis Dubourdeau, Professor of Oenology at the University of Bordeaux, Dagueneau is "One of the great winemakers of our generation". Current prices for his top single vineyard cuvees (Silex, Pur Sang) certainly seem to bear that out!

This bottle has been stored in an excellent underground Essex cellar for many years.
