Description

Three half-bottles of dessert nectar from one of the very top producers of the region.

Quarts de Chaume is one of the two top sub-appellations within the Coteaux du Layon region (the other being Bonnezeaux). Quarts de Chaume is the smaller of the two, comprised of just 45 hectares planted on a mix of schist and sandstone slopes close to a large bend in the Layon River, which creates morning mists that encourage the development of noble rot.
