This for 6 half bottles 375ml in the original Cardboard box - removed from LCB and opened to check and take picture.
This is dessert wine made and picked from Allison & Greg Hobbs own Semillon vines planted back in the early 1960's and it shows. Amazingly these sweet dessert wines are made without Botrytis infected fruit or fortification in the dessert wines and are only 8.6% vol but all that lushness and depth like Sauternes
After cane pruned and hand picking the grapes they place into racks and trays to semi dried, this process and the extra attention highlights and intensifies complex natural fruit flavours and aromas providing a very long deep, clean and crisp finish combined with wonderful fruit. As good if not better than any normal sweet Botrytis wine – truly stunning hence so rare and sort after with only a few years made and less than 1,300 litres made and will cellar for ever.

Sweet and rich but not over the top, offering pure pear, pineapple and cream aromas and flavors, finishing with a refined balance. Has plenty of room to grow, but this is already delicious. Drink now through 2018.
