A really top New Zealand Chardonnay, but don't take my word for it...

Here are Neal Martin's Wine Advocate notes from a recent NZ vs White Burgundy tasting:

"Tasted blind at Farr Vintners Kumeu/White Burgundy tasting. The 2009 Hunting Hill Chardonnay has vivid mineralité on the Puligny-like nose that is supremely well defined and poised. The palate is clean and fresh with very well-judged acidity, again a convincing sense of Burgundy-inspired mineralité and a vivacious Clementine and white peach finish that lingers long in the mouth. This is an absolute "killer" New Zealand Chardonnay that is world class. Drink: 2015 - 2030" (NM 94 points)
