According to Pierre Rovani writing for the Wine Advocate: "...so light in color it could easily pass for water, until one's nose discerns its zety aromas of grapefruit, lily, white flowers, and botritys. Lush, pure, and loaded with cherries, raspberries, and plums..." (02/04) According to Terry Theise: "This is surely the ne plus ultra of Kirchenpfad, all violets and garrigue and bouquet-garni; the palate is juicy and salty and burning-leaf; it’s not unlike the few great 2000s, and not at all demanding. You want less to sip it than to lap it."

Thursday, March 17, 2016 - Surprisingly fresh. Great richness but fine acidity to balance. Loads of honey, citrus, white peach,endless fruits. Never cloying. Floral. Long. Lovely.
