Description

ORGANOLEPTIC EXAM: intense and sunny wine that conveys the fruity aromas of muscat grapes. Pleasant sweet sensations of almonds, dried figs and honey (typical of Zibibbo withered in the sun) are balanced with pleasant notes of freshness.

VINEYARD OF ORIGIN: various plots on the island of Ustica between Contrada Spalmatore and Contrada Tramontena; North and South-West exposure; altitude from 0 to 30m / asl; surface 7.000sqm divided into plots of about 1,500 square meters; 2,700 stocks / ha; sixth plant 1.5×2.40m

TRAINING: espalier with short pruning

YEAR OF PLANT: 2000-2006

YIELD PER HECTARE: 40 q / Ha SOIL: volcanic soils with medium loose texture

HARVEST: selective grapes to be dried withering on trellises in the sun and subsequent harvest in the box for the must base
