Description

A bit of an oddity this one!

It's a blend of Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Gewurztraminer made by one of the best and longest established wine producers in Chianti. The estate's wine making history dates back to 1200. This wine sells for around £20 a bottle in its native Italy.

It's a classy and complex wine, somewhat past its intended drinking window but still very much alive and offering lots of interest.
