Chateau Berliquet is a Bordeaux wine ranked as Grand Cru Classe, Saint-Emilion Grand Cru since 1986. Owned by Chanel since 2017 and overseen by external consultant Thomas Duclos the vines are surrounded by those of Château Canon also owned by Chanel.
The 10ha vineyard is planted to 75% Merlot, 23% Cabernet Franc and 2% Cabernet Sauvignon. One of the oldest estates in Saint-Emilion quality improved dramatically under the stewardship of Nicolas Thienpont from 2008 to 2016 and continues under Thomas Duclos.
100% of production goes into the first wine which its aged for 16 months in 50% new oa.
