Overview

Château Bélair-Monange, named until 2007 Château Belair, is a Bordeaux vineyard from the appellation Saint-Émilion Grand Cru, ranked Premier grand cru classé B in the Classification of Saint-Émilion wine, holding the ranking since the original 1955 classification. Purchased by the Moeuix family in 2008, Monange was added to the name in honour of the maiden name of Christian Moeuix's grandmother.

23.5ha planted to 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc approximately 80% of production makes it into the first wine with up to 20% going into the second wine Announce de Bélair-Monange. From 2015 onward the wines here are said to be a true expression of their limestone terroir and are now considered to be some of the finest wines on the plateau.
